We got on the topic of serial killers and I mentioned that I had just read a book called "The Deviant" about Ed Gein who used to skin his victims and wear their skin. I met Shannon in person shortly thereafter and gave him my copy of the book. Did I help inspire that song? Unfortunately, Shannon died before I got to ask him.
