And yes…this stupidly long post has been done at an office desk…on a rainy dull london day !!!

Keep Rockin !!!!

Today, my friends, we put the CONTRAST in the cp. I don’t know if i’ve ever heard such a diverse episode.

fil- nepalese ska/punk is just…awesome. i was practically skanking around the lab.

anna- the song was just beautiful. my favorite version that i’ve heard of that song. it was new order originally, wasn’t it?

way to dominate, ladies.

and gentlemen, way to represent protest, argument, heroin addiction, ska, punk, and ska/punk!

…and of course Dave Brubeck who, let’s face it, really embodies all of those things.

oh, how great to hear new and old voices!

i tell you, this podcast just kept getting better the longer it went. i listened to it while i made dinner and i rocked out around the kitchen . . . the circle jerks . . . !!! . . . skatalites . . . (omg, i thought sas was toad at first, although i realized my mistake pretty quickly from the lack of profanity). that frente was beautiful, so was the edie brickell–and how perfect to have mark’s intro follow the soundgarden. and ita with james, if nat says nirvana is still worth listening to, then that’s good enough for me!

zb–i KNEW you were the cat! and hurrah for argumentative music and cryptic shapes!

i’ve said it before and i’m sure i’ll say it again, but tim is fucking brilliant at putting these together. yay tim!

I thought I could hide it forever but… it was without knowing your insight miaow…
(yep erm sorry I must go cos’ I need my 15 hours of sleep)

hi tim,
I’ve got a great entry for this weeks podcast (stuck in yr head) I’ve been trying to email it to you since wednesday night but it keeps getting bounced back to me with a daemon mailer notification :( , I’m sending it from my gmail if that makes any odds??

I’ve been having lots of trouble getting files from gmail. I can only assume it’s the university server at my end. If this ever happens to you, jut send me a message without the attachments and we’ll work out a different route to get the file here.
