Eiron Page is using a Wii to communicate presently as the more conventional computer system is serving him less well even than usual…

God, a Monkey with a Wii would be brilliant. Two monkeys with Wiis would be off the scale. Love love love the apparitions song, and the specials obviously. It’s nice to be back. I’ve been doing intros every week anyway and not sending them ๐Ÿ™‚

I dont know why, but I had a worry that this CP was going to be a poor one. But how wrong could I be?? It was tree-mendous

I didnt realise there were so many great and different songs about Monkeys and Apes, and that made it a great listen.

But what really made this so entertatining were the intros. I was particularly blown away by Anna’s brilliantly thought-out bit of work.

On the down-side, there was the vision a nude FiL….I must really try and get that right out of my head before I go off to work an hour late this morning as I couldn’t stop listening.

And I cant wait till next week’s exciting episode to see how FiL escapes from his predicament!!!!

Oh and finally…..if that’s a true story Rick, I’m sure I’m not the only one curious to know how it all came about…..

Gotta dash as my boss is going to go ape at me for being late.

But I promise to swing by again later on to see what the rest of you thought of it all.

Eiron – I believe that some apes might communicate using wee. But that’s a different story isn’t it!

Adam – So glad to have you back.

JC – Have a little read of Rick’s blog and all might become clear!

Great episode.

I mean, we all KNEW that FiL would end up naked in a monkey house. We just didn’t know how.

Eiron – I was very excited to see the Bachelors of Science because they were in the final running for my submission from your CD.

Nat – My favorite line was from your song. “I lightly took advantage of a young girl…” I love “lightly took advantage”

Adam – We love having you back!

Tricia – Shameless plug. If you want to use your monkeys to MY personal advantage (and I’m pretty sure that everyone’s looking out for my personal advantage) then you could head over to my blog and break the tie that’s keeping my Battle of the Bands from proceeding. It’s a couple of entries down and you would be my bestest friend. That goes for the whole CP nation, by the way.

Wasn’t it interesting that robots and monkeys appeared in two songs? Sort of the brackets that surround humanity?

What I didn’t contribute this week… here.

Adam,

what a fucking relief to hear your voice again in here!

Welcome back, mate!

Dirk

Cheers Tim

Just been over to Rick’s blog. And that sure is a fantastic tale he tells.

And James…..I have cast my vote as you so requested.

And Bob….it aint the same without your growl….

Yup … I have been fortunate enough to have have met Rick and his wife twice now. The second time was just before the monkeys arrived and I can testify to them being truly inspirational (and lovely) people.

JC – thank you so much! You broke the tie. Of course Dirk retied the match, but i still appreciate all votes i get. So thank you both a lot!

Loved this one, as usual. I agree with everyone- it’s so nice to have Adam back.

Eiron, somehow the idea of you pecking away on the Wii makes me laugh. But I really do feel bad for you and hope that your computer is feeling better soon.

JC, not to get too sappy but Bare Necessities was a song we played a lot when I was growing up and you singing melted my heart. I hadn’t heard it in so long.

Linda, how to I get the Coffee Monkey to deliver to my house??

Ack, not Bare Necessities, but I can’t remember the name of it… on The Jungle Book soundtrack!

I Wanna Be Like You. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy did a pretty good version of it on the This Beautiful Life LP

J.C., I got a question, mate: why is it that when you’re singing, you totally lose this terrible Scottish accent and turn into what I would describe as perfect Oxford English?

Strange, ey?!

Yes indeed, welcome back Adam !!! Great show, i just wish someone would of contributed Low- Monkey !! I opted for the nosiy side tho…..rockin !!

“One should always leave from time to time, for it one did not leave one would never be able to experience the pleasure of coming back”. Oscar Wilde.

I went absolutely bananas over this episode. Especially your submission, Rick. I was in the car with my four kids listening to the podcast….and then after your song came on we listened to Robot Monkey Head again and again and again…..

James, I’ll hop over to your site next and see about that vote.

Ah, Greer–
I happen to be married to the Coffee Monkey. You can’t have him! LOL

Luckily, he doesn’t whoop like that every morning. Only when I ask him to.

I’ve gone ape over this CP!

/bad pun off
