I shall listen to this later. Just wanted to say that this week I talked over my own composition, as it felt appropriate to the theme. You can download the track in five subtly different variants as part of an EP from my blog.

Damnit, those email gremlins have struck again. Here’s what I attempted to send in.

Good lord, I do sound croaky! It sounds like perhaps I took Annika’s advice to ‘get sick soon’ literally!

Great episode. Eiron, you and I are two peas in a pod. Minus the whole naming a toe and tucking it into bed thing!

The Moonbabies are one of those bands people have told me I’d like but I’ve never listened to properly. Really, really like this tune Marcy.

I liked ‘Feet Upon The Sand’ as well Rachel, very nice.

Tricia, good to see another foot hater. I must admit my stomach turned a little at that boot/skin story! Can’t go wrong with Billy though, he’s awesome.

And great theme choice for next week JC! Off to put my thinking cap on…

Good job foot aficionados!

For the record, I don’t like genitalia all that much either. I suppose they look the way they do because if they were wonderfully beautiful we’d never get anything useful done. And nudity wouldn’t be frowned upon so much. Luckily for people like me - not prudish, rather favouring that which is beautiful (even darkly) in the world - it is, and we do.

oh god, i’m a little nervous to listen to this just from reading these comments!

i have to say that i find that picture really oooky. really, really oooky.

I must chime in on the photo. It’s creeping me out!
I’m neither a foot hater or a foot lover, but I hate when my feetz hurt! And I LOVED hearing that Mud song. It’s been years since I’ve heard it, Tim. Oh Susanna is lovely, and FiL, where did you get THAT old gem? I feel the need to view an old episode of The Avengers.

Tim, I’m glad you found my feet as I lost them on a dark and cold 31st decembernight
So, now, I can be back on the ‘cast next time…
Nice ‘cast cpnation.

Tricia - does that picture pretty much look like that guy’s boots once they had been extracted?

Yeah it creeps me out too. Ooky is a good word for it.

Definitely the wierdest CP so far (in a good way, on the whole…)

Kinky Boots became a novelty hit of sorts in around 1990 when Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Simon Mayo took a liking to it (much as he also did with Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life). I remember thinking even then there was something a bit wrong about the way McNee said ‘Sexy little schoolgirls!’ Dirty old fucker.

Ah .. ZB claims the feet. I’ll see what else I have tucked away in the CP lost and found box.

Chris Phosphorous - we have to sort out what is stopping your emails arriving. That would have fitted in nicely.

FiL - lovely to hear an insight into your private life … although I’m not sure how Mrs FiL didn’t see the microphone?

Jim - I’m worried that your comment with the words ‘foot’ and ‘job’ in it might bring the wrong type of visitor, but Nat warned us that might happen.

LOL. It could happen. I had a hit on my powdered foot again today. I think I am going to remove it and stick a “gotcha” pic there, or one of some nasty, grungy toenail fungus.

Careful Nat. That might attract an even wronger kind of fetishist…

Oh, that’s true. I’m creeped out by the whole thing.

Ooky…the perfect description!

so, like, normally, i really love to hear about people’s lives and when they share personal stuff about how they feel, what they’ve been through . . . but this may have been tmi!! ;-)

some great music, though.

Perhaps we should debate where to go next on the body?

… and just a quick note about next week. I consider a bass guitar to be a guitar too (the clue is in the name), so be careful with those choices!

I’m all for the hands or the arms.

Dang, since I consider bass provides “bottom” and since it can be so seamlessly tied to the percussion, I almost overlooked that. I was thinking about it before you warned, though, and really listened carefully on the headphones. Still, I changed my pick just to ensure no arguments.

I’d be good with hands…

I vote for lips. If we’re going internal, then the spleen… ;-)

I’ll confess to not having listened yet. Maybe I can’t get passed that ooky (mysterious & kooky, even) photo…

passed = past. Geezo!

I had the same reaction to the photo- eek! No offense ZB :) . Thoroughly entertaining podcast though. I’m glad I wasn’t eating during Agnes’s and Tricia’s intros.

I think hands or lips sounds good for the next body part.

Oh my! This CP was just something else! Some really great songs, but some, erm, intros that only a podiatrist (or the hitters on Nat’s site) could love.

I thoroughly loved Oh Susanna and the Cinerama. Feet upon the sand was also excellent.

JC, that is one of my long time favorite songs. “Can you look into my eyes”…so lovely. Eyes most definitely trump the feet!

FiL, I was gagging and laughing so hard at the same time. Honestly, it was the funnest/most repulsive few minutes of my week.

And finally, Eiron…Holy smokes. I’m speechless. But, the intro was worth it for those Bleepin’ Dipping Toes. So good.

Ooh. I just got dissed!

Although I now realise, having reviewed the image, that it was actually the pointer toe of my left foot. I feel slightly foolish, so no change there.

And here’s the blog entry that goes with it, though the picture is no longer online, it would appear.

Sorry Greer! I felt that I had to back up my statement of foot hatred with some (albeit disgusting!) evidence!

I’m going to put in my vote for the clavicle. Plenty of great tune opportunities there.

I’d have one for the clavicle. Bring it on :)

i think only those of us who have ever broken our clavicle(s) should be eligible to contribute to a clavicle podcast. it is the most frequently broken bone in the body, you know.

Alright, then I’m out. Clavicle intact to date.

I have never had a broken bone of any sort! (Knock on wood)
Hey, maybe just plain old BONES could be next. (and this could include boners.) Pardon my crassness. I’m blaming the Shiraz I had at dinner.

Maybe more Shiraz will inspire other topics, Nat. Get to it! :)

I’ve dislocated my knee. Twice.

boners!! yeah, nat!

i was only kidding about the broken clavicle thing, btw. but i think bones would be a great theme.

I think my votes go to bones or hands.

But I’d also like to suggest hair and eyes?
