Wow. This was a LOT better than I was anticipating. Way to go people! I just looked back through the playlist to pick out my favorites, but they all had their merits! If you were expecting some sort of egg-related pun in this comment, I guess the yolk’s on you…:D

My sentiments eggsactly James.

I have a feeling this is going to be an eggcellent episode!

omg, i am having wicked flashbacks about St. Alphonso’s pancake breakfast (where I stole the margareeeen!). THanks so much for playing that song, Chris. Now all I need is a dog doo snow cone….

I like mine… SANCTIFRIED!

Oh my.

Can I just interupt the punfest for a sec. I meant to ask last week if there are any preferences for where we go with the parts of the body series next?

Oh yes, there are, Tim … but probably children are reading this comment section, so I can’t tell you!

I’d like to do Eyes.

I just know James is jonesing to submit Billy Idol’s “Eyes Without A Face.” He’s been waiting months for the opportunity…

I was gonna do Hungry Eyes. πŸ™‚

As long as you don’t touch “Bette Davis Eyes” – that shizz is mine, all mine, d’ya hear?? MINE!!!!

“…and so, just before the close of the decade, claimstaking turned the utopia of the Contrast Podcast community into a bloodbath.”
–CP Nation: A History of Submission

Hey, I get Naked Eyes! πŸ˜‰

And, James, that’s priceless.

aye vote for eyes.

see what you’ve done James?

Happy Easter CP Nation

Great tale Dirk….glad the new mike is working its magic.

I’m dancing Marcy…I’m dancing. Ouch. I’m too old for this.

Conrad, you’re a drug runner, right?

Adam – sure it wasnt one from your old band???-)

Linda – weird but engaging track!

As ever FiL….weird but engaging intro!!

Greer. Gimme back my medical records!!!

Eiron. You are a walking, talking enteratining encyclopedia.

Bob – you could have given me 500 guesses at that one and I’d never have daid Beastie Boys. Amazing.

Loads of different things this week, with about 95% of it being new to me. Thanks everyone.

PS : Legs for the next body part podcast.

i wanted to say welcome to andy d. (is this your first time?) and welcome back to bob and pieter, it’s good to have you guys in the mix again. : )

also, when dirk said that he was holding something special in his hands, i was sure he was going to say it was his baby! :0

greer–that intro was great! you do the best dead-pan voice.

and chris, i’m with nat, i’m always up for some zappa.

happy easter!!

I’m loving that eggbeater song. I bet the dance is way better than the electric slide.

I loved your song, Linda. It is so fabulously out there. Just my kind of tune.

Greer and JC: Awesome intros.

I’d vote for skin soon (for the body part…there is so much of it).

Forgot to say, if you like my submission of this week it’s from a 9CD collection from the Clinical Archives netlabel entitled Clinical Jazz. You can get the whole thing here, if you’re interested. They have a phenomenally huge catalogue, so do have a browse.

Also, Jungfrauenjoch translates, if indeed my translation skills are at par, to Virgins Yoke. Regardless of sound, the system picked a winner this week, for sure. Finally, given the theme was simply “eggs”, you can see just how easy it is to set me off.

JC, I very much appreciate the compliment.

Hmmm. It could also translate to “Virgins Col”, which, given that a col is a pass between two mountain peaks or a gap in a ridge, might just fit Dirk’s dirty not-quite-suggestions for the next body parts ‘cast…

oh I see I should have been playing closer attention over here! Eggs indeed! I’ve boycotted it all week, as Dirk stole my song, πŸ™

But now that I know JC’s been naughty I’m forced to listen πŸ˜‰

Dearest Tart,

what can I do so that you forgive me for stealing your submission?!?

Kind regards and eternal felicitudes from your obedient servant,
