Wow. This was a LOT better than I was anticipating. Way to go people! I just looked back through the playlist to pick out my favorites, but they all had their merits! If you were expecting some sort of egg-related pun in this comment, I guess the yolk’s on you…:D

omg, i am having wicked flashbacks about St. Alphonso’s pancake breakfast (where I stole the margareeeen!). THanks so much for playing that song, Chris. Now all I need is a dog doo snow cone….
By nat on 04.08.09 1:53 am
I like mine… SANCTIFRIED!
By Eiron Page on 04.08.09 8:02 pm
Oh my.
Can I just interupt the punfest for a sec. I meant to ask last week if there are any preferences for where we go with the parts of the body series next?
By tim.young on 04.09.09 10:40 am
Oh yes, there are, Tim … but probably children are reading this comment section, so I can’t tell you!
By Dirk on 04.09.09 11:29 am
I’d like to do Eyes.
By James! on 04.09.09 2:49 pm
I just know James is jonesing to submit Billy Idol’s “Eyes Without A Face.” He’s been waiting months for the opportunity…
By FiL on 04.09.09 4:47 pm
I was gonna do Hungry Eyes.
By James! on 04.09.09 6:36 pm

Great tale Dirk….glad the new mike is working its magic.
I’m dancing Marcy…I’m dancing. Ouch. I’m too old for this.
Conrad, you’re a drug runner, right?
Adam - sure it wasnt one from your old band???-)
Linda - weird but engaging track!
As ever FiL….weird but engaging intro!!
Greer. Gimme back my medical records!!!
Eiron. You are a walking, talking enteratining encyclopedia.
Bob - you could have given me 500 guesses at that one and I’d never have daid Beastie Boys. Amazing.
Loads of different things this week, with about 95% of it being new to me. Thanks everyone.
PS : Legs for the next body part podcast.
By jc on 04.12.09 1:11 pm
i wanted to say welcome to andy d. (is this your first time?) and welcome back to bob and pieter, it’s good to have you guys in the mix again. : )
also, when dirk said that he was holding something special in his hands, i was sure he was going to say it was his baby! :0
greer–that intro was great! you do the best dead-pan voice.
and chris, i’m with nat, i’m always up for some zappa.
happy easter!!
By mjrc on 04.12.09 3:14 pm
I’m loving that eggbeater song. I bet the dance is way better than the electric slide.
I loved your song, Linda. It is so fabulously out there. Just my kind of tune.
Greer and JC: Awesome intros.
I’d vote for skin soon (for the body part…there is so much of it).
By Tricia on 04.13.09 9:09 pm
Forgot to say, if you like my submission of this week it’s from a 9CD collection from the Clinical Archives netlabel entitled Clinical Jazz. You can get the whole thing here, if you’re interested. They have a phenomenally huge catalogue, so do have a browse.

Also, Jungfrauenjoch translates, if indeed my translation skills are at par, to Virgins Yoke. Regardless of sound, the system picked a winner this week, for sure. Finally, given the theme was simply “eggs”, you can see just how easy it is to set me off.
JC, I very much appreciate the compliment.
By Eiron Page on 04.14.09 4:38 am
Hmmm. It could also translate to “Virgins Col”, which, given that a col is a pass between two mountain peaks or a gap in a ridge, might just fit Dirk’s dirty not-quite-suggestions for the next body parts ‘cast…
By Eiron Page on 04.14.09 4:46 am
oh I see I should have been playing closer attention over here! Eggs indeed! I’ve boycotted it all week, as Dirk stole my song,
But now that I know JC’s been naughty I’m forced to listen
xoxo,
Tart
By Tart on 04.14.09 6:38 am
Dearest Tart,
what can I do so that you forgive me for stealing your submission?!?
Kind regards and eternal felicitudes from your obedient servant,
