Great job CP nation!

I especially enjoyed the Flaming Lips, Secret Affair, and Lanterns on the Lake tracks!

Great stuff as usual, a nice mixture of old and new, familiar and unfamiliar.

I guess everyone’s run away, scared of what will emerge next week….

I bet everyone is on vacation :) .

Chris- congrats on the new house. I hope you enjoy it!

I enjoyed the podcast as always, thanks so much.

guilty as charged!

looks like a good one, though.

and welcome to robert!

Or snowed under with work and too tired when we get home at night to do anything internet related!

you name it, JC: I haven’t even listened to the 1974-thingy yet ….

I’m horribly behind too. Haven’t listened to this one yet and couldn’t get my act together to contribute to this week’s either.

I opted out of the arse one, too, due to complete laziness.

I apologize.

Chris, just know that no matter what you do to your house, there is some sort of symmetry which causes something to break. It’s one of those little joys in home ownership! Good luck and congratulations! :-)

Catching up…

Yes, great mix of the familiar and delightfully UN.

ZB, Agnes, Greer, Eiron: Thanks loads for selections new to me and bearing further investigation.

Tricia & Dirk: Thanks for dusting off the Pigbag and Husker Du!

Chris: Congratulations & enjoy home ownership.

Fil, Fil, FIl, Fil… You’re incorrigible and my hero. To go to SUCH extreme lengths to link Tullycraft to Bea Arthur’s appearance in The Star Wars Holiday Special. Brilliant. (My favorite part of that sequence is Arthur’s scene opposite Harvey Korman, where he inexplicably seizes the CHEESIEST role of his career to flex his acting muscles and give a pathos-filled performance.)

Late, but oh, how I enjoyed this episode! Mint Royale..oh yeah! And Little Birdy…excellent.

Eiron-darn good! System or not. Also Dirk, Adam and Chris… Just fantastic.

Loved belting out “Starting Over” in the car. Young son said “Mum, you know this??”

Personal favorite was The Flaming Lips’ tune. Stuck in my head and totally new to me.
