hallo hallo, I just realized I forgot to send you some wishes, so, happy new year , contrast nation, and may 2010 be beyond your most secret desires.

So, I was VERY tired when I started listening to this episode last night. I only made it about halfway through. And then this morning as I was finishing it, I thought, “Was I dreaming or did someone play ‘C is for Cookie’?”

Well done, Mighty Kymm :)

I’m so intrigued by these. Looking forward to a listen.

My resolution? I gave ‘em up years ago!!

Great picks and great intros, as per usual.

Happy to see the Lily Allen track, as it was one of my very top fave songs for ‘09 that DIDN’T wind up on the Festive Fifty.

And yes, Yay Cookie Monster and Yay Mighty Kymm. Way back once upon a time I used to mash Flipper’s ‘Sex Bomb’ together with ‘C is for Cookie’. About 5 minutes in to Flipper’s drone, skronk and wail, I’d gently begin to fade them down and fade up Cookie, but let them bellow together for a minute or so before giving the finale entirely to C. Monster.
It worked way too well. Scary.

I think my version of ‘C is for Cookie’ was longer, though. Maybe an alternate take…?

Surely C. Monster recorded more than one version. The Mighty Kymm version seemed different to me, too.

Also, what is your movie project Kymm? I’m working on a lifetime movie project, myself. And a book project and a music project.

tim, i loved how you segued from my song into thomas’s song. you put this week’s together very well, but of course, you always do.

rhianna–that was a perfect song for your resolution!

eiron–i can’t wait to find out how your new system works out for you.

fil–definitely more accents!

stuart–that was incredibly sweet. it’s kind of too bad your wife won’t hear it!

Kymm -Thanks for making me laugh out loud with that song. I was by the red peppers in the supermarket and started getting funny looks.

Syd Shaw, matthew sweet tracks also great - oh dear, more music to buy!

great episode and good luck to everyone with their resolutions - I’m not doing too well!

Kev
