Kymm - It turns out that that song is by Melissa Etheridge, but I can’t find it on any of her albums…I love that you carry that song with you in your daily life :)

My favorite song in this AMAZING two-parter: C30 C60 C90 GO!

Tim- That is a fantastic song. And someone in the video looks so familiar… :)

Tricia- I really liked what you said about being amazed that your Robyn Hitchcock cd was still in tact and functioning. I have some I think the same thing about whenever I take them out. The digital format is so convenient but there is something about a physical object that’s been with you, used and loved, for years and years.

And Micky- that is one of my favorite songs, it was so lovely to hear it at the end of the podcast.

I liked every single selection- great episode from start to finish!

“And someone in the video looks so familiar… ”

- - and be sure not to miss that ‘video response’ either…

Oh yes!! A Mel moment from Gotta Go and video response. Fantastic (and that song sure grows on you…cannot get it out of my head.

Kymm…I loved that you sang the song. Great voice you got there. I can see why the song is special to you. I’m gonna check out that movie!

I was pretty much in heaven during the heavily 80s portion of the ‘cast. Nice!

Marcy, funny about wanting to get the song on the CP…I always wonder how some tunes I want to share will ever fit into a theme. Maybe that should be a theme.

Just a quick note for those of you who check these things. Due to some unforseen stuff this week’s cast is going to be late … maybe even as late as Sunday.

Couldn’t be helped …

Hope everything’s ok Tim!

You rock, as usual!

Yeah, I hope the little one is doing alright …. first thing I thought of when I read your comment, Tim!

Oh .. it’s not a problem with the boy. He is as lovely as ever. I might get the cast out this morning fingers crossed!

Tim…..why not just leave it till next midweek? I’m sure the CP nation (contributors and listeners alike) will not grudge you a week’s leave.

Well .. after almost 4 years it might be a shame to miss a week! Also it’s already mixed, I just need to listen and do the listing .. which I’m doing now! … and to top that off next week promises to be even crazier.

Which makes me think … anybody got any good ideas for the fourth birthday episode .. 208?

2004?

hmmh … anything with ‘four’ in the song title and/or the band’s name would do nicely for me … at least this would offer rather a great variety to choose from again!

Nat - 2004 wouldn’t work becuase of my nerdy rule for the year episodes .. it would have to be episode 204 .. I know .. I should get out more.

Dirk - Hmmm. Yes … four might be a good easy one. I was also considering something that celebrated all the past episodes like ‘a song that fits as many previous themes as possible’ or the often demanded ’something I wish I’d submitted’!

We could have a Disco. Or we could have ‘they’ve never been on the podcast before’ which I’d like to suggest as a theme anyway.

What do you give any 4 year old? TOYS!!!!!

Toys is good! You could also do Quartets.

Do you know what … I think I like toys quite a lot, especially as there are so many musicians using toy instruments in their recordings these days. I think it’s going to be that one .. thanks JC!
