I guess I am not terribly surprised at #1 but is it just me or did that whole album get so played out that I actually didn’t include it on my year end list at all.
Either way, very successful Festive Fifty this year! Cheers to new music in 2012
Thank you to Tim, James and Chris! xx

Lovely Eggs! Thank you, voters, for introducing me to them! Just bought the CD from off of out of Amazon, can’t wait for the postie to bring it. Belter!

As another poster said the 1st part is always my favourite of the festive 50 maybe because it’s a little more obscure and quirky, I don’t know. I always love Sexy Losers picks Lazy Bones is the best track in my opinion. You missed out ‘Metronomy’. Thanks again lads and lassies have a great new year.

It’s been killing me for weeks that I got the reference wrong in my intro! I was on vacation (holiday) when this got posted and I’m finally able to come clean. It was Nick Hornby’s “Songbook” that discussed owning more Dylan albums than reflected his love of Bob Dylan. Whew. Happy to get that off my back.
Also, haters and hating, I suppose, but this is a fun capper to the year, and I would miss it if it wasn’t. Thanks to Tim and all involved!
